DTO-BioFlow aims at incorporating previously unavailable or difficult-to-access marine-biodiversity data into the biodiversity component of the EU Digital Twin Ocean, ensuring sustainable data flows for marine biodiversity research.
The role of MarSens is to derive demonstrable data products (carbon flux specific to phytoplankton types) from bio-optical data obtained from BioGeoChemical-Argo (BGC-Argo) profiling floats, contributing to the Use Case on Ecosystem Services, including carbon sequestration.
