ABOUT
Xingda is a PhD Student in the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou (China), visiting the MarSens group. His research interest are mainly in the application of remote sensing to water quality and marine biogeochemistry studies, with a strong interest in machine learning approaches. He is specifically interested in remote sensing of Noctiluca scintillans, a dinoflagellate that can exist in a green or red form, depending on the pigmentation in its vacuoles.
